Pernox Lemon Scrub Cleanser for oily skin
Indications
Scrubbing cleanser for oily skin.
Directions
Use Pernox instead of soap, 1-2 times daily or as physician directs. Wet skin first, apply with fingertips and massage lather into skin for up to one minute. Rinse thoroughly.
Ingredients
Contains: Sodium Octoxynol-2-Ethane Sulfonate, Polyethylene, Water, Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate, Poloxamer 184, Docusate Sodium, Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Methylcellulose, Food Starch, Fragrance, EDTA and D&C Yellow #10.
Warnings
If undue skin irritation develops or increases, discontinue use and consult physician. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse eyes with water

Like Debbie, I also used to use Listerex. Pernox is the best on the market, therefore not sure "why" it was taken off the shelves. It is great for oily skin and it exfoliates as well. Even Elizabeth Arden doesn't make anything as good as Pernox.

Back in the day, I used a product called "Listerex" for my face; that was discontinued and I discovered Pernox! Oh happy day. This was a staple in my household; with three teens who played sports, it was a lifesaver for all of their complexions. This product has also disappeared from the store shelves, and now I can only purchase on-line through Hocks. Thank goodness! I am serious when I say that this product is the best out there. I cannot be without it, ever, and if this is discontinued, I will have to hunt somebody down and do bodily harm! :o) ONLY KIDDING. Even though my children are all grown on their own, I still put one in their stocking every Christmas, and sometimes for their birthdays. They look forward to getting this treat. Honest!
