Elta ® Tar Creme
Works hard to control itching and scaling in durable waterproof base.
No drying alcohol base or irritating formula. Elta base lubricates and moisturizes while delivering 10% coal tar solution.
No offensive coal tar odor.
No greasy, sticky residue. Melts on contact, penetrating to moisturize and deliver the LCD solution.
12 hour moisturizing power. At the end of 12 hours, Elta Tar Creme still holds 90% of the moisture in the skin to stop dryness, while improving flexibility and comfort.
Use as a carrying agent for pharmaceutical compounding. Low melting point and no evaporation.
Directions: Apply to affected areas one to four times daily or as directed by a physician.
Active Ingredients: Topical Coal Tar Solution (10%) (2% coal tar, alcohol, polysorbate 90)
Inactive Ingredients: In Elta Base: Petrolatum, Paraffin, Mineral Oil, PVP/Eicosene Copolymer
